Mandy Moraes

I joined Black Press Media in 2020 as a multimedia reporter for the Parksville Qualicum Beach News, and transferred to the News Bulletin in 2022 as a reporter and arts editor. Community news is vital to not only keep people well-informed about the happenings closest to home but to help create a shared culture. I'm always interested in arts, LGBTQ and Indigenous-focused stories. When not glued to my computer, I enjoy painting, doodling, drumming, and playing recreational dodgeball with the Nanaimo Sports and Social Club.
