Re: Young offenders growing up to be repeat offenders, Opinion, April 26.

I agree, and disagree with the idea of the small-group approach for acting-out youths. They do help each other in a leader-led supportive group.

On the other hand I know of three youths who grew up in grievous home situations and their lives crashed on the rocks early on. Tough love was the last thing they needed.
