A motorist reportedly left the scene after a morning drive turned upside-down in Nanoose Bay this week.
Emergency crews were called Monday, April 19, at about 10 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash on Dolphin Drive.
The Nanoose Bay Volunteer Fire Department and an ambulance were already on scene when police arrived. An overturned, uninsured sedan was spotted off the main road as firefighters directed traffic around the scene.
“Police spoke with three persons who claimed to be passengers in the vehicle. They reported that the driver had departed prior to police arrival,” wrote Sgt. Stephen Rose with the Oceanside RCMP in an e-mail to PQB News.
Rose confirmed that no one was injured during the collision and asked that any potential witnesses contact police at 250-248-6111, citing police file 2021-3783.
