A tribute concert dedicated to Sir Paul McCartney is back by popular demand after “thrilling” Nanaimo audiences last year.

According to a release, Tony Kishman, a veteran of the Broadway hit musical Beatlemania and of the British rock band Wishbone Ash, will feature in Live and Let Die: the Music of Paul McCartney in a worldwide tour that comes to the Port Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m.

“The show will take the audience back to the iconic hits of the Beatles, Wings and solo McCartney,” noted the release.

This is the third showing of the concert on the Island; the first was at the Royal Theatre in Victoria in 2019, and the second at Port Theatre last fall.

Tickets can be obtained online at www.porttheatre.com, and further information on the show itself can be found at www.liveandletdieshow.com.
