Inaugural VegFest shakes it up in downtown Nanaimo

Vegan, vegetarian and plant-based options are on display at Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo today.

The inaugural Nanaimo VegFest is on until 5 p.m. Saturday, July 29 with numerous vendors from across Vancouver Island offering food and various merchandise of the fully vegan and non-vegan variety.

There will also be educational speakers and entertainment.

Admission is free.
