Coins really did add up again this past holiday season.
The Nanaimo News Bulletin’s Coins for Kids campaign was held in the lead-up to Christmas and $2,500 was raised for each of the two organizations the charity supports: the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Vancouver Island. The cheques were recently presented at the News Bulletin office.
Sean McCue, News Bulletin publisher, expressed thanks to all who supported the campaign this year and especially to the two most dedicated Coins for Kids volunteers, Pete MacDonald and Ian Thorpe.
