The VIU Dance Team is holding a beer-and-burger fundraiser Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Queen’s Hotel. There will be a 50/50 draw and a silent auction.
The team performs at basketball and volleyball home games at the Vancouver Island University gym and is trying to raise money for uniforms and travel to away games.
