The Nanaimo NightOwls earned a few wins during three straight series on the road, and are now in the midst of a stretch of eight home games in 10 days.
The city’s West Coast League baseball team went 4-5 on a road swing through Kelowna, Port Angeles and Edmonton the past two weeks. They’re back at Serauxmen Stadium this week for exhibition games against Nanaimo select teams Tuesday and Wednesday, July 5-6, at 6:35 p.m.
The NightOwls posted on social media that this week’s exhibitions are “two of the most anticipated games” on the schedule.
“It will feel like two home teams,” the club previewed.
The NightOwls will then play a home series against the Wenatchee AppleSox from Friday to Sunday, July 8-10. The Friday and Saturday games are at 6:35 p.m. and the Sunday game is at 1 p.m.
