Chess Soderstrom of Cinnabar Valley Elementary School leads the pack during a rainy 200-metre peewee race at zone track and field qualifiers May 26 at Rotary Bowl stadium. Soderstrom won the race, and he and many others advanced to the district championships June 9 at Rotary Bowl.
