The big bikes are revving up, and that’s music to the ears of motocross fans.
The Canadian Motosport Racing Club’s Monster Energy Motocross Nationals get underway Sunday (June 2) with a series stop at Nanaimo’s Wastelands Motocross Park.
The start of the season is clean slate for all the riders and a chance to create some momentum for a good season.
“Motocross is not only alive and well in Canada but growing and a reason to be optimistic,” said Mark Stallybrass, CMRC president, in a press release.
On Saturday (June 1) there is an Island series race and Sunday’s racing starts at 12:10 p.m. Admission is $25 for Sunday’s race or $40 for a weekend pass. Children under $12 will be admitted for $15 on Sunday, or $25 for a weekend pass.
