Some Mariners greats will be returning to the gym to challenge and inspire the next generation.
Vancouver Island University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams are playing alumni games this Saturday (Sept. 26) at the VIU gym. The men’s alumni roster includes Brandon Jones, Jacob Thom, Tyler Olsen and others, while the women’s alumni team includes Shayna Worthington, Jocelyn Jones, Jenna Carver and others.
The men’s game is first at 6 p.m., with the ladies to follow at 8 p.m.
