Jr. B T-men settle for tie

The Nanaimo Timbermen junior B team put an end to a three-game losing skid, but they would have felt a little better if they could have scored one more goal.

The junior B T-men tied Saanich 8-8 on the road Sunday. Nanaimo jumped out to a 5-1 first-period lead but the home team chipped away.

Bryden Pelletier led the way offensively with three goals and four assists and Remy Koch also tallied a hat trick. Dean Borrelli scored twice and Billy Good chipped in with two assists.

LACROSSE TALK … Nanaimo's next game isn't until June 18, when the Campbell River Ravens visit the Nanaimo Ice Centre for a 3:30 p.m. game.
