Three Nanaimo football players will get to hone their skills this off-season by playing in the Football Canada Cup.

Three Nanaimo football players will get to hone their skills this off-season by playing in the Football Canada Cup.

John Barsby Bulldogs players Jordan Kuziek and Nathan Berg and Nanaimo Redmen player Jordan Pugh were selected to Football B.C.’s 40-man roster for the tournament, taking place in Lethbridge, Alta. July 9-15.

Kuziek plays defensive line; Berg is a running back. Pugh, a defensive back, was one of only three community football players selected to the team.

B.C.’s first game at the Canada Cup is against Manitoba.
