Nanaimo’s Coffee League softball teams scored more big wins this week.
On Monday at the McGirr Sports Fields, Ron’s Landscaping defeated Baker Supply 10-6. Michelle Franklin hit a triple for the Baker ladies. Two days later at the diamond, Island Net ran circles around Baker Supply, 16-1, with Wendy Byrne hitting a triple for the Netties. At the Wheatsheaf fields that morning, Ladysmith beat the Wheaties 16-6.
