Club volleyball is about ready to start determining champions.

Volleyball B.C.’s Vancouver Island championships will be taking place at various venues all month, with most tournaments taking place in Nanaimo.

Regionals for the U17-18 girls will be held this coming weekend (April 8-9) at the Vancouver Island University gym. All other divisions of girls’ and boys’ regionals will also be held this coming weekend except for the U15-U16 Island championships, which will be April 29-30.

VIU gym hosted a Super Volley U15 girls’ tournament at the Vancouver Island University gym this past Saturday and Sunday. Mariners teams finished fifth in the AA division and seventh in the A division.
