The Nanaimo Clippers needed to make some decisions surrounding their goaltending picture, and they made one last week.
The team traded Charles-Alexy Premont to the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League for future considerations.
Premont played 27 games with Nanaimo last season as the backup to Charles-Andre Pelletier and compiled a 10-8 record with a 3.38 goals-against average and an .869 save percentage.
"The Nanaimo Clippers wish to thank Charles for his hard work and dedication to the Clipper organization," noted a statement on the team's website.
