The Nanaimo Clippers want to hang out with their fans in the off-season, too.
The city's B.C. Hockey League club is holding an open house this Sunday (June 24) to show off its new office at Beban House at Beban Park.
"Moving to the new office gives us an opportunity to have this open house and housewarming gathering and invite all fans and sponsors and friends of the team," said Mike Vandekamp, Clippers coach.
The coach and some of the players will be there Sunday, and the event is being hosted by the new Nanaimo Clippers Booster Club. There will be a ribbon cutting and prize draws.
The open house runs from 1-3 p.m.
