Former Toronto Blue Jays infielder Kelly Gruber has been announced as the special guest for this year’s Serauxmen Sportsman Dinner fundraiser.
The event will be held April 21 at Beban Park social centre, presented by the Serauxmen Service Club and the Nanaimo Minor Baseball Association.
Gruber was a World Series champion with the Blue Jays. Michelle Stilwell, Paralympic gold medallist, will also speak at the event and there will be a performance by magician Craig (Con Man) McKee and live music.
Tickets are $65, available at www.serauxmen.com. Proceeds raised will go to youth sports.
