Some drugs are harmful, some aren’t

The ignorance of the many ‘experts’ quoted in newspapers about marijuana research is astounding

The ignorance of the many ‘experts’ quoted in newspapers about marijuana research is astounding. Those of us who have used pot both recreationally and medically (migraines, work-related back and shoulder pains, and lately, shingles) have known its effectiveness for years.

When doctors researching it in the 1960s couldn’t find any reason to believe it was addictive (no observable withdrawal symptoms) they invented the term ‘psychological addiction.’ Kind of like the term ‘side effects’ for drugs that make you worse.

The Marijuana Papers, published in 1954, consist of synopyses of over 600 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals on the physical and psychological effects of marijuana. Doctors and cops who spout their absence of knowledge should learn to read.

Drug companies and doctors recently began to prescribe heroin, renaming it fentanyl. Now we have an epidemic with hundreds of deaths a year.

Class-action lawsuits against the doctor-pushers and their company-suppliers are well within the charter rights of those who have been hurt, and their next-of-kin.
