Re: All taxpayers have stake in schools, Letters, Sept. 11.
For your information, my daughter asked to be on the picket line because she knows that her small, but important voice can make a difference.
More importantly, by fixating on a child with a sign, you have missed all the important issues behind this strike.
Finally, I find it strange that you would like my child to be home playing with her toys rather than being in a classroom learning like she should be. This strike is a great teachable moment and I’m very proud of how much she’s learned by being involved.
