Liberal leader lacks substance

The more I listen to what comes out of Justin Trudeau’s mouth the more convinced I am that he is indeed in over his head.

To the Editor,

The more I listen to what comes out of Justin Trudeau’s mouth the more convinced I am that he is indeed in over his head.

He claims he would cancel legislation requiring native leaders to disclose salaries. He would “work with” First Nations for a more “respectful” alternative to the existing legislation which is to say he prefers the status quo by which the chiefs would be able to continue to keep secret from band members their ridiculous salaries. He would remove a required transparency that allows band members to properly examine their leaders’ spending practices.

Trudeau is saying in effect that he prefers the ‘entitlement mentality,’ privilege, corruption and secrecy to transparency and accountability.

The gaffes and silly remarks just keep piling up with ever-increasing evidence of a cluttered and undisciplined mind and the obvious deficiencies of the man who would be prime minister. When substance and character are replaced by style and superficiality, good government should not be expected.
