Fracking continues unchecked

Barack Obama is using Keystone as a political tool to divert attention from the uncontrolled fracking going on just south of us.

To the Editor,

Re: Fracking using huge amounts of water, Opinion, Feb. 25.

If David Suzuki is concerned about fracking, he should have a word with Barack Obama who is using Keystone as a political tool to divert attention from the uncontrolled fracking going on just south of us. His purpose is clear. Divert attention to an imaginary problem while the real one goes unchecked until he has his domestic supply secure. Then he can put those upstarts in the north back in their place.
