Recently I had the unhappy experience of spending eight hours in the new emergency room at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. My family and I were very impressed with the environment, ambience and quality of care.
It was apparent that the staff were happier and appeared in control of their urgent and stressful duties. Not only did they provide attentive and professional care for the patient, but made certain we had the necessary comforts.
The facility design creates an atmosphere of privacy, professionalism and calm. Thank you to those responsible for the creation of a facility that serves people in a safe and efficient manner.
