Cuts unhealthy for students

I was pleased to see that the school board chairman wants “to make sure we’re doing what’s best for the whole district.”

Yeah, right – after making the decision to reopen Cedar Secondary at the expense of every other school in the district.

Parents should make sure their children’s vaccinations are all up to date in light of the district’s move to reduce janitorial services to schools throughout the district. You know, the money for the reopening has to be found somewhere, so let’s have dirtier schools regardless of the adverse consequences to student and staff health.
