To the Editor,
We attended another concert performed by the Nanaimo Concert Band this month. For the quality of the performance, there should have been no empty seats. When people are accustomed to spending $40 or $50 for a ticket at the Port Theatre, perhaps they do not think that a performance that costs only $16 is worth attending – what a mistake.
The music ranged from Sousa to Mancini to Ravel – something for everyone’s taste – and was well-performed.
