City's south end isn't all that bad

The south end is small and it’s not as bad as media likes to make it at times.

Re: South end’s renewal attracts attention, Sept. 4.

Does the reporter even know what gentrification means? Gentrification is the upgrading of rundown urban neighbourhoods, thereby causing displacement of the resident poor.

The south end is small and it’s not as bad as media likes to make it at times. But the Bulletin gentry still look down their self-righteous noses.
