To the Editor,
I’m very curious to know why in this climate and with lots of young families, there are lots of playgrounds around, but I have yet to see even one with a canopy, so that young parents will have a place to take their kids to burn off steam on rainy days, of which we have plenty. Most months of the year in this area are rainy, so why would there not be a dry place for kids to play in a park? If there is one, I’d love to know where it is, and if there isn’t, can someone please tell me why not?
