In loving memory of Trevà Lorraine Vass ~ Trevà Vass the beloved wife of Samuel Vass passed away January 08, 2021 at the age of 87.
Treva was born to parents Margret Ann and James Catterall of North Umberland England in 1933. Treva grew up in Nanaimo with her parents and 8 siblings at 122 Irwin St.
Treva met her loving husband Sam of 65 years in Courtney. Their first daughter Debbie was born in Comox, later they moved back to Nanaimo where their three daughters Susan, Kathy, and Karen were born.
As a young mother Treva enjoyed gardening, baking and music. Treva loved to dance, her favorite singer was Elvis, she had quite a collection of his music and memorabilia, ironically the date of her passing was also Elvis's birth date.
Treva was predeceased by her daughter Susan Vass, Susan's son Floyd Travis JR, Treva's parents, her brother and six of her sisters. Treva is survived and will be greatly missed by her loving husband Sam, daughters Debbie, Kathy and Karen, sister Faye, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
