Terry passed away February 1, 2020 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Salmon Arm, BC, he was raised in a military family.
After graduating from the University of BC, he made the military his career. He served in the artillery more than 30 years with postings across Canada and in Germany, retiring with the rank of Major.
Terry chose Nanaimo as his permanent home. He became an avid gardener and backyard bird watcher.
Family was very important to Terry. He travelled most weekends to visit his mother in Courtenay, and never forgot a birthday. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Lenore, he is survived by his sisters Jo Ann Brewster and Patricia Pugh, as well as two nieces and a nephew.
On behalf of Terry, the family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of NRGH who took such good care of him during his extended stay in hospital.
