Sherry was born in Chilliwack to her beloved parents, Jarnail and Rattun Sall. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Sherry can best be described as 'Good'. She loved kids and willingly helped raise her younger siblings Randy, Gina, Sandy, and Janis.
She became a Child and Youth Care professional and worked at Maryhill Reachout, Coquitlam School District, and the Vancouver School District. Her passion for working with kids was interrupted by a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. In true Sherry fashion, she looked at the positive and transitioned her career in to Real Estate, becoming a Diamond Club Member.
As Sherry's health declined, she moved from Port Coquitlam and built a beautiful life for herself in Ladysmith and for the last 16 years, Nanaimo. Sherry's sparkle never waivered and her spirit and strength owned MS rather than MS owning her.
She had enormous joy living and raising her nephew, alongside her sister, for the last 12 years. Although we all wanted more time together, Sherry left her family peacefully in her sleep.
Whenever we see the colour purple, 'Sherry Baby', we will see you. We are all so proud to have loved you. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
