Sandi passed after a short, but furious, battle with Cancer.
Sandi was predeceased by her Father, Arthur Stanley Murphy 1967, Mother, Gladys Logan 1979.
Sandi is survived by Sister Beverly, Brother In-law, Tom Rhodes, 3 nieces - Tammy/Joe Rideout - Fort MacMurray, Sherry Watson/Pat Watson - Gold River, Jolene Belerose - Prince George and a Grandniece/nephews, Brandy Patterson - Nanaimo, T.J. Rhodes/ Crotta., Shane Rhodes, Sayah Rhodes all of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Sandi also has extended family in California and Texas, U.S.
Sandi, born in Nanaimo, lived a busy life both in Canada and U.S. She loved to take road trips, was an accomplished photographer, dabbled in City politics, played a mean game of Pool, was a Dam warrior, and supported Branch 10 & Branch 256 Legions.
Sandi also had an extensive music collection. It will be no surprise to anyone that knew Sandi that the song "I did it my way" was her #1 tune. She worked hard as an Accountant, loved her little Dog "Misty" and did whatever it took to carry on....... keeping all the wheels on the road.
The family would like to thank, Sandi's friend and caregiver....Harvey Bist. He was with her for the long haul.....truly a man of his word.

A Celebration of life will held for Sandi Blankenship between 2:00 till 4:00, August 26, 2018 at Branch 10 Legion, 129 Harewood Rd. Hope to see you there.
