ROY WALL

JULY 4, 1944 - JANUARY 7, 2017

Born in Regina on July 4, 1944, Roy, after a long illness, passed away on January 7, 2017. Predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Edith (nee Wallace) Wall and son-in-law, Ray Londeau.

Roy leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Lynne (nee Riley), two daughters, Rosanne and Lisa, Armand, two grandsons, Brandon and Dominic, and great-grandson Jake, as well as his brothers, Bob, Larry and Gord and their families as well as cousins.

Roy spent many years working with his brothers and their father at M. Wall & Sons, building countless numbers of homes and businesses in and around Nanaimo. Roy later went on to work for School District #68 and then retired to 100 Mile House and lived there until June of 2016 when they returned to Nanaimo.

Roy enjoyed the outdoors a great deal and spent many hours fishing and hunting on Vancouver Island as well as in the Cariboo. He enjoyed working around their property in the Cariboo and puttering in his workshop.

Please join us in a celebration of Roy’s life on Saturday, January 28, 2017 @ 1:30 pm at the Departure Bay Baptist Church, 3510 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo, BC. There will be an opportunity to share stories and memories you have of Roy’s life with family and friends.
