Richer, Roger Joseph
July 12, 1946 - September 26, 2016
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roger Richer whilst undergoing emergency surgery at the Victoria Royal Jubilee Hospital.
Roger leaves behind his partner, France of Campbell River and his former wife Ellis of Nanaimo and his two beautiful daughters, Robin of Nanaimo and Liska (Kurt) of Ladner, BC.
Roger lived a full life and was a devoted father to his girls. He was a great cook and could fix just about anything, He contributed to the community wherever he lived and volunteered countless hours to various organizations in Nanaimo since his arrival in 1993. He was very much his own man.
Our gratitude to the Campbell River Hospital medical staff and also to the valiant efforts from the staff and surgeons of the Victoria Royal Jubilee Hospital.
