Passed away after an unexpected brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife Jean, son Tony (Janet), daughter Carla (Dwayne), grandchildren Tabitha, Brandon and Nick, great-grandchildren Ava and Maddox. Also survived by sisters-in-law Joan & June, sisters Elizabeth and Jessie, brothers Boyne & Johnny, as well as many other extended family. Rod also leaves behind many friends he met during his lengthy career as Chief Steward with BC Ferries.
The family would like to thank his doctor, all the nurses & volunteers at Palliative care in NRGH. No service at his request. The family politely declines flowers.
