Robert Shelley (A.K.A Bob) Smith of Lantzville, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on September 17, 2017 at the age of 72.
Bob was formally from Redwater, Alberta, born and raised in Taber, Alberta. Resided in Nanaimo and then in Lantzville.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Sonia, 2 sons, Dwayne (Simone) and Jason (Cassandra) and his loving and precious grandchildren, Marek, Summer, Arwen and Levi.
Also, Survived by his sister Linda (Tracy) & family, Sister-in-law Marilyn & family, and sister-in-law Judy & family.
Predeceased by brothers Wayne & Leo. Bob will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and huge heart.
A celebration of life will be held on September 30th, 2017 at the family home for family & friends, from 1:00-5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the heart and stroke foundation.
