FOSTER, Robert (Bob), native son of Nanaimo, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2015 at Berwick on the Lake.

Bob was predeceased by his mother, father, and sister. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gladys; his children, Robert “Cam” (Barbara) Foster and their children, Jennifer, Derrick, and Anthony; Jonathon Edward (Ruth) Foster and their children, Matthew and Georgina, stepson, Courtenay “Corky” Alan (Patricia) Place and their children, Lori and Sanford; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Maggie, Jacob, and Halayna.

Bob served as a leading Aircraftman with the RCAF during WWII. After the war, Bob made a career of surveying until his retirement.
