Richard Scott Tweedie (Tweeder)
It’s with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of Richard Scott Tweedie (Tweeder) on October 3rd 2013 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Scott was born October 21st, 1965 in Duncan BC and grew up in Nanaimo until moving to Grande Prairie 7 years ago.
Scott was unexpectedly taken from us at the young age of 47. He was survived by his mother and step-father, Leanne and Ian McDonald; sister, Kim McArthur; brother, Mark Tweedie; niece, Courtney McArthur; and his son, Joel Tweedie-Upshaw. Scott was a loving man, son, father, brother and uncle who was loved by family and so many friends. Scott was loved by all who met him or crossed his path.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 1-4pm at the Departure Bay Activity Center, located at 1415 Wingrove Ave, Nanaimo, BC. Scott will leave a big hole in all our hearts.
