Rebecca Jeanne Wells
July 3, 1951 – December 7, 2016
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beckie. Our Mother, Nan, Sister, Aunt and Friend. After a short yet courageous battle with cancer, she is now at peace.
Survived and sadly missed by her two sons Stephen May (Shannon), and his children Alexandra, Reylen, and Taylor. Jason May (Tara), and his children Roland, William and Wyatt. Her sisters Loree (Al), Bonny (Ernie) Gina (John) and brothers Allan (Judy) and Tom. Plus many nieces, nephews. Also friends both new and dating back to grade 1. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Fran Wells, and her Son’s Dad Danny May.
Becky’s love and devotion to her family was one of a kind. She was the organizer of all of our Wells & Co. family events. Crazy hat tubing, Veering in Victoria, and years of annual family camping trips. She spent much of her time sewing everything from hemming pants to elaborate costumes, and making the best themed birthday cakes.
The family would like to give a more than special thank you to the palliative care unit at NRGH. Especially Annabelle and Cheryl
There will be a celebration of life on February 18, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Moose Hall. 1356 Cranberry Ave, Nanaimo, B.C.
