March 2, 1953 to December 5, 2014
Born in Calgary, AB and moved to Vancouver Island, BC in 1979. Semi-retired in Nanaimo, BC in 2006.
Ray was a trooper in all things. He went to sleep and did not wake up.
Predeceased by his Dad Arnold Labs January 1965, his Sister Janette Delay June 6, 2010 and dog Hobbie.
Survived by his dog Teddy, cat Jack, Son Mike Labs, Nephew Al Delay, Stepson Mark Renn, Stepdaughter Monica Renn, adopted son Noah Eve, Mom Merle Labs, Sister Shirley Labs, Brother Don Labs, Leslie Labs, Friends Kevin & Lynn Bonsall and Candice Easthom, coworkers Sandy Hanna and Bryan Griffin!
Ray made the best of any situation! He loved his time with all the ladies at the Ambulatory Clinic! Want to thank Dr. Marc Teixeira for ordering Ray the Moon. :D Special thanks to Nanaimo Fire Rescue, Cpl. Stew MacMillan and Coroner Kim Bailey!!!
