Phyllis passed away suddenly from natural causes on August 20, 2021 at home. She will be sorely missed and forever loved by everyone.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Morrison, her sister Beverly and her brother Glen.
Phyllis is survived by her partner of 24 years, Andrew Henderson, daughter Tammy Gordon (Ontario) and sons John (Alberta) and Dylan (Washington State). She leaves her brothers John (Ontario), Melvin and Delbert (Manitoba) and her sister Judy (Nanaimo).
She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren (as well as one on the way). She'll be greatly missed by George (her cat) and her BFFs Carol and Sophia (AKA the 3 musketeers) along with many other friends and relatives.
Phyllis was a registered elder at RAT PORTAGE Indian Band and led an adventurous life in Ontario, Manitoba and B.C. She always had some story to tell. She went the way she always said she wanted to...fast and painless.
Goodbye to you our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
You were a great friend and you'll be loved and remembered always. Your garden is magnificent as usual.
A service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services (Nanaimo) on Friday September 3rd, 2021 at 1 pm.
