July 23, 1926 - June 2, 2018
We are sad to announce Peter's passing at Chartwell Malaspina Care Residence in Nanaimo B.C. following a long and graceful decline due to Alzheimer's disease.
His loving wife of 57 years Linda and his children Cathy, Andrew (Samantha) and Ian (Katrina) survive Peter. He is also survived by his grandchildren Megan, Hannah, Jensen, Christopher, Zoe and Spencer.
Peter was born in Sheffield England, he served in WW II, attended Sheffield University, then emigrated with Linda to Canada and settled in Ottawa where he taught Electronics at Algonquin College. They moved to Nanaimo in 2010 and continued his love of walking, golf and fitness at Harbour City Seniors and also enjoyed the warmer winters!
Special thanks to the dedicated staff at Chartwell Malaspina Care Residence for their care of Peter over the past years. He came to the end of the 'trail' after a life well lived. We will miss you Poppa.
