April 5, 1931 - June 27, 2018
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Kabatoff in Nanaimo, BC on Wednesday June 27, 2018, at the age of 87 years. He is greatly missed by Rose, his beloved wife of 40 years.

Paul will be remembered for his gentle nature, kind heart, and strong love for his family. Paul was a prairie boy, born in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan, eventually leaving his John Deere tractor and farming behind to live in Penticton, BC with his young family, where he started a successful construction business. He later moved to Langley, BC where he worked for BC Hydro as a supervisor of their carpentry division until retiring after 35 years or service.

Paul was a handy-man extraordinaire-there was nothing he couldn't fix or build, and he wielded a mean vacuum cleaner.

Predeceased by his son Danny, father Peter, mother Polly (Cheveldayoff), and brother Alfred.

Paul will be greatly missed by his daughters: Paula Kabatoff and Nina Kabatoff, and step-children: Walter Shwydky and wife Dixie, Joyce Lastavec, Lily Robertson, Lori Shwydky and wife Cheryl Ann, and a total of 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in July. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
