Ove Dahl Riesach

February 3, 1943 - January 31, 2024

In Loving Memory ~

Ove Dahl Riesach, age 80, of Nanaimo BC passed away January 31, 2024. Ove was born February 3, 1943 in Aalborg Country, Denmark, he, with his family immigrated to Saskatchewan Canada in 1952.

In 1964 Ove moved to Nanaimo BC where he lived out his life. Ove is survived by his older brother Leif Riesach and his two children Terah and Danny Riesach, along with six grandchildren, Matt, Grace, Kees, Leven, Damen, and Bryce. He is predeceased by his sister Eva McCarthy.

Ove worked at Harmac for over 25 years where he retired, and enjoyed socializing with friends at the local pubs, loved cooking, watching hockey, and walks along the ocean front and beaches.

Ove will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his very big kind heart.

Skohl to you dad (Ove), you will be dearly missed.

There will be a gathering held to honor Ove at The Queens Pub, 34 Victoria Rd. Nanaimo

March 30th at 1 pm. Please join us for one last cheer for Ove.
