Ole Anker BOYE
May 16, 1926 - August 18, 2012
It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ole after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife, Grethe Marie in 1997, his parents, and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Ricki Max Boye of Nanaimo B.C., his daughter, Anna-Lisa Boye of Vancouver B.C., grandson Remy Hagedorn of Vancouver B.C., his beloved special friend, Kristie Petersen of Nanoose Bay B.C., and many nieces and nephews in Denmark and France. Ole emigrated from Denmark in 1952 and was well appreciated for his work at Alcan for 33 years. He was a loving family man and enjoyed the company of friends and spending time in the outdoors.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 1st from 2 - 6pm at 5561 Westdale Road, Nanaimo.
