Mavis Elizabeth Dean(nee Potter), aged 78, died peacefully on April 9, 2018 in Nanaimo, BC after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Mavis was born on November 20, 1939 in Southampton, UK.
In 1961, Mavis married her true love, Raymond Dean and together they immigrated to Canada first residing in Montreal and eventually making their way across Canada to make their home in BC.
Mavis enjoyed cooking, loved her garden and was strongly devoted to her family. She will forever be missed by all her children and grandchildren: Micheal (Gina): Riley, Adam, Hannah; Andrew (Corrine): David, Bradley, Jessica and Terry (Laurie): Brittany, Jane and Tristen.
There will be a private family service to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Alzheimer Society of BC.
