Marian Anderson, 92, passed away at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital 54 hours after Wally. Marian’s generosity and love was deeply felt by all she knew. Marian is predeceased by 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by their son, Douglas (Judy); daughter Laurie (Jack); Grandchildren Corrina, Andrea, Steven, Alex, Koreen, Tabitha; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren and her wonderful sister Doreen (Michael) Finch.
A funeral and memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church – 301 Machleary St., Nanaimo, BC – Saturday, August 29, 2015 – 1:00p.m. mass; 1:45p.m. Celebration of Life downstairs in the Church – for sharing of stories and reception. In lieu of flowers – donations for Diabetes and Heart Association are greatly appreciated.
