Lotte was born in Germany and passed away peacefully on August 5, 2019. She was a mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many: her children (Isabel, Lore, and Heidi), grandchildren (Katja, Lindsay, and Scott), as well as close relatives and friends.
Anyone who knew Lotte knew that she loved living in Nanaimo, spending time watching the ocean in all its beauty and splendor. Those left behind will remember and feel Lotte's love every time they enjoy a good read, write a caring letter or note, dance like there is no tomorrow, or cook a sensational meal, as those were things that filled her heart with joy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pereira, all of her Home Support care workers, as well as the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH who did a wonderful job making her feel comfortable.
