In loving memory ~
Lorraine Conrod passed away surrounded by her loving family on Mar. 21, 2024. She is survived by her three daughters: Louise Shuker (Grant), Carol Barde (Bruno), Morgan Conrod and their father Jerry Conrod. Her grandchildren (Joel, Nathalie and Marayna) were the light of her life and provided countless cherished moments. She leaves behind her lifelong friend Karen, many Shepherd/Slogar/Conrod family members, Moira and loved one Jesse.
Lorraine grew up with her brothers in Lantzville later moving to Nanaimo where she spent most of her life in her dearly loved Victoria. She enjoyed writing, dancing, gardening and reading the newspaper. Lorraine's striking beauty was only surpassed by her inner goodness and ability to love. Her determination and forgiving nature carried her through many challenges throughout her life. Our dear mother forged incredible relationships with family and friends. She aspired to make everyone stand tall and feel loved. Farewell, sweet angel, till we meet again.
Funeral service April 5th at 12:30 pm, St. Peter's, 301 Machleary St., Nanaimo. Followed by internment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Reception at 3:00 pm at St. Peter's.
