Lilliane passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by two daughters, two son-in-laws, five grandchildren, five brothers, four sisters, an extensive extended family, and many supportive friends.
Lil loved to quilt, to cook, and to travel. Her memory will live on in her quilts - cherished treasures which embody Lil’s care and eye for beauty. In keeping with her wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider honouring Lil’s memory with a donation in her name to the Nanaimo Community Hospice Society, 1080 St George Crescent, Nanaimo, BC V9S 1X1 to support the amazing care provided by the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit staff and volunteers.
