McGhee, Lilian Isobel
Lilian passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Thursday, June 14th with loving family and friends at her side. Predeceased by her husband Bill, she will be greatly missed by her daughter Maureen, son-in-law Gord, and treasured granddaughters Sarah and Laura. Also missing her will be her brother Denis and wife Marilyn, nephews Garth (Loyola), Jeff (Veronica), niece Colleen (Mark), numerous cousins and many good friends; all of whom she felt very blessed to have.
Lil was born in Nanaimo and grew up in East Wellington. She graduated from John Shaw High School and went to work for the Bank of Nova Scotia. When she married Bill, they moved to Victoria where they resided for many years. Lil was a devoted Wife, Mum and Nana and treasured the time she spent with her family. The family extends a very special thank you to the exceptional staff at NRGH for the kind and compassionate care given to Lil. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
